Composer Arranger Performer Orchestra

Hi friends,

The Composer Arranger Performer Orchestra is making its concert debut at the Starry Plough this Sunday at 4pm! Featuring newly composed and newly arranged works by members of the group, as well some old goodies.
The program (not concert order):
Elgar Serenade for Strings
Mendelssohn String Symphony no. 4
Montgomery “Flat on Your Face”
Montgomery “On It’s Way”
Mozart Fantasia for Mechanical Organ (arr. Lei)
Patzner String Symphony
Shostakovich 2 Preludes (arr. Lei)
Wang “Mind Quest”
Wang Quartet
Performers: Alex Carney, Sara Chazin, Ari Gorman, Jacob Hansen-Joseph, Ishtar Hernandez, Moses Lei, Matt Benedict-Montgomery, Crystal Pascucci, Lewis Patzner, Christina Jarvis Simpson, Ariel Wang
Starts at 4pm. Admission is free! Donations will be accepted. All ages!
I’m very pleased to say I’ve composed a new String Symphony that we will perform. It’s probably my biggest work to date.
Calendar for this weekend:
Thursday the 10th, Alex Hand Band plays at the Lost Church 8pm
Friday the 11th, Alligator Spacewalk plays at the Mezzanine 9pm
Saturday the 12th Musical Art Quintet plays at the Alamo Ale House accompanying a silent film. 7pm
Sunday the 13th CAPO plays at the Starry Plough 4pm
